Reservation Changes- Beginning on January 9th, 2024, Walt Disney World theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based 1-day, date-based multi-day, and vacation packages with date-based tickets. For other admission types, Walt Disney World theme park reservations may be required including student group, sport and convention, Disney Military Salute tickets and Annual Passes. Annual Passholders can also still visit the theme parks after 2pm without a theme park reservation except on the weekends at Magic Kingdom.
Park Hopping Changes- Also beginning on January 9th, guests will be able to visit another theme park at any time of day during park hours without having to wait until 2pm (subject to capacity limitations) with a ticket with Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass. Annual Passholders, on days when theme parks reservations are required, will still have to visit their first park in order to take advantage of the Park Hopper access updates.
