You might be thinking this is the year you take the family to Orlando for Christmas. You know that at any other time of the year, Sea World is a magical place, but, you're wondering if it's a good idea to spend Christmas there, right? Yes. Absolutely it is.

Sea World doesn't hold back when it comes to holiday cheer and festivities. Your whole family will love spending the holidays here, and we've compiled a list of all the activities you can expect this year.

Shamu's Christmas Miracle

You can't do Sea World without Shamu, and you can't have Christmas without Shamu's Christmas Miracle!

This show is an amazing sight. Performed at night, it tells a charming tale of friendship and serves as a gentle reminder of the everyday miracles in our lives. Enjoy the orcas you love, with the splashing you come to expect, all inside a heartwarming holiday show.

Tip: Remember to be aware of the seating area splash zones. If you're not interested in getting wet, it's best to sit a few rows back.

Sea of Trees

As you pass through the park and between the various holiday shows, expect to be dazzled by lights of over 100 trees. These aren’t just your normal Christmas trees, though, they appear to be floating on the water and are entirely lit for a total holiday experience. Sing along too, with the variety of Christmas carols playing throughout the evening.

Bayside Stadium Winter Wonderland on Ice

Christmas just isn't Christmas without a holiday show on ice. The talented skaters in this ensemble do a fantastic series of ice dancing to all your favorite holiday tunes.

Sea Lion and Otter Stadium

Your favorite sea lion friends get in the holiday spirit, too. Consider taking in a Clyde & Seamore show, and giggle as the group of friends highly anticipate Santa's arrival.

Nautilus Theater

The Nautilus Theater is home to a more traditional Christmas story. Take in the live nativity scene, complete with puppets, live animals, and a must-see finale.

SANTA'S BASE CAMP & RUDOLPH

The SeaWorld Christmas Celebration isn't without its chance meet and greets. Take the kids to see Santa himself at Santa's Base Camp & Gifts. You might even do a little shopping while you're there. You can also explore Rudolph's Christmastown, and the whole family can enjoy a stroll through the beloved scenes and opt for selfies with your favorite North Pole characters.

Gazebo Stage and Christmas Market

Even your downtime will offer a significant holiday experience. Parouse the Christmas Market and pause with the family to listen to Gazebo Stage musicians. Sit around the fire pit or make friends with the life-size nutcrackers along the way.

Holiday Cheer Eats and Treats

You can schedule a Rudolph Feast, offering holiday favorites in a sit-down with your favorite reindeer. Enjoy the other delectable morsels throughout the day, including waffle cone s'mores and stuffed donuts too.

Recommendations

Don't overbook yourselves, but make time to take in as many shows as possible. Some of the events are only offered on select days, while others are daily and throughout the season. While the festivities kick off officially on November 23, you'll want to make sure you schedule your time around the festivities you consider a must-see. Make the reservations ahead of time for Rudolph's dinner, for example. Also, take advantage of the sampler packages, to make sure everyone can taste the best SeaWorld's Christmas has to offer.
